Transport Cash Account Group

Overview

The Transport Cash Account Group Form is part of the VSD Fleet Management System. It is used to manage account groups related to transport operations. This form allows users to link transport cash transactions to specific account groups, making it easier to categorize and manage finances within the transport system.

Accessing the Form

Log in to the VSD Fleet Management System.

Navigate to the Transport Cash Account Group section under the VSD Fleet MS module.

Click on New to create a new cash account group or select an existing one from the list to edit.

Form Layout

The form is very simple and consists of only one field, Account Group.

Field Overview

1. Account Group (Required)

• Description: Select the account group that will be associated with transport cash transactions.

• Options: This field links to the Account DocType, allowing you to select an account group that is already defined in your system. Example: "Cash - Main Account", "Fleet Operations Account"

Creating a New Transport Cash Account Group

Steps:

Account Group:

• Click on the Account Group field to open a dropdown menu.

• Select the appropriate account group from the options provided.

• If the account group does not exist, you may need to create it in the Account DocType first.

• Save: After selecting the account group, click Save to create the new record.
